If you’re not the type of person who would be willing to spend on sudden medical issues for your pet, insurance should be a requirement. Also remember to enroll your pet as early as possible. The younger, the cheaper the plan, as with humans.

Pet Assure are slightly different to an insurance policy because you are offered discount pet care for using an associated veterinarian. By being a member you receive 25% discount on any treatment.

Many people certainly underestimate the cost of some of the more involved pet procedures at the vet. My dogs and cat are all on a pet wellness plan that offers significant discounts on care but I can only imagine how much some of the costs would be for the more pricey procedures.
