Great products, Bargains and gift ideas
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve found myself looking at online stores for sales on ipods. Yep … I’ve seriously been considering getting an ipod. Can you believe that I don”t have one yet?
I can’t!
The iPod Nano is the iPod that most interests me. We have a large music collection – so I think the 16 gig model would be best — even bigger would be better, but 16 gig is a start.
Anyone have an iPod nano? Can you tell me how you like it? Pros? Cons?
The new year is here. How many of you took advantage of end of the year or even better – New Year Sales? Did you shop ’till you dropped in the last week of 2010 and the first of 2011? Or did you shop online?
We’re in a real budget crunch so I didn’t go nuts spending money at at any of the big sales. Oh and there was some good ones here in Toronto! Boxing day sales are the best! I really had to hold myself back from buying a new 8 mg flip camcorder when I saw it online for a really good price. A friend of mine wants a new rack mount lcd so I’m keeping my eye out for deals but otherwise I didn’t end up buying anything other than a Belgium waffle maker.
So .. did you buy anything at any of the big after Christmas or new year sales? What did you buy?

I’m so happy to be in a new year! I didn’t really enjoy 2010 all that much … actually come to think of it I didn’t really enjoy most of the last decade so I’m hoping this new year and decade are a lot better.
My husband and I ushered in the new year quietly at home. We had a nice dinner and watched the new years celebrations on television. We always like the one at Niagara Falls … we have to go there one year for New Years.
I think one of our neighbors must have had a wild party. We didn’t hear it, so it wasn’t a close neighbor, but the next day we saw bottles on the street and what appeared to be part of one of those hot tub covers or something that looked like it. Like I said it had to have been a wild party! I’m glad it wasn’t right next door to us! LOL
What did you do for new years eve?
